| As well as a master programmer, I am also a skilled graphic artist, film maker, and IT consultant.
My experience in these fields often overlap my software development projects as software is increasingly becoming more graphically and multimedia oriented. Computer IT skills obviousally play an important part in programming.
Computer IT, 1992 to present
I performed a great deal of IT work. Typically this involves installing Windows servers and networks or acting as a databse administrator.
Additionally, I have fulfilled the role of administrator of a Macintosh network for a newspaper. In 1996, I was director of communications for KMS Enterprises, where I managed their UNIX network spanning several states as well as maintaining and patching their custom hospitality software.
Davis Publishing, 1987-1993
While performing contract programming, I also operated a graphic art company. The company grew from only myself to seven employees with a large print shop in Knoxville, Tennessee. I sold the company when my software contracts grew. My graphic art ability has served me well in interface design for software.
Film & Video, 1984 to present
During the years I have contracted in the film and video industry. I have created commercials for national cable as well as many industrial pieces. My most recent was a music video for a record company to be broadcast on TNT cable network. My skill in this field proved invaluable in many of my software multimedia projects.
Following are pages that detail my talents.
