In many projects over the years I have received many awards and honors that I am proud of. This page details some of these.

Honors come in many forms and my most proud is being entrusted by many companies to produce products for them. These products have been commercial software that sell in ranges of $15,000 and up to packages on machines that sell for over a million dollars.

Many of these products are in use by large corporations like General Motors, Whirlpool Ericsson, and others. These products are used internationally in South America and Europe as well.

In my work for Tice Technology, I was awarded a mulit-patent for an electronically geared sewing machine that proved to be worth millions of dollars. The technology was featured front page in many industry trades as well as featured on CNN News Network.
U.S. Patent #: 5,839,382

The Tice patents are very special in that my team was able to develop the technology quicker and for millions of dollars less than the industry giants.

For Robotic Control Group I was awarded a patent for a Motion Control Coupler (TruBus®) used to easily assemble complicated electronics in robotics systems. With this patent, I truly crossed the boundary of software and hardware.
U.S. Patent #: 6,297,612

My biggest kudos really comes from the words of my many clients. They show a job well done with repeat business. My clients commonly refer to me as the guy to turn to when they think a job cannot be done.

In an unsolicited testimonial from the VP of technology at MedImages, Mr. Downing said this to another company seeking my services,

“…We contracted him for our project at a max of $10,000, but it looks like he will finish for about $6,500. ...

Understand that this is some of the most complex programming work being done on the market. I only know of three people capable of programming well at this level.

To put it in another perspective, I found Greg while looking for a senior software engineer. We could not afford to hire him as an employee as he is easily worth $120K or more—way over our pitiful budget. I believe that when looking at the national market, he's priced about right.”
