I have over 20 years experience in various fields of programming. My style is modular programming with an emphasis on superior design and ease of after-release maintenance and upgrades. My specialty is commercial software. I work very fast while ensuring a properly completed project.

My preferred platform is Microsoft Windows with a preference for Visual Studio.Net. I am also very skilled with advanced Visual Basic 6 using the Win32 API or custom C/C++ libraries of my creation.

My strengths lie in adaptation and versatility, I can work alone, as part of a team, or as manager. My past experience demonstrates my strength as a self-starter whose leadership is characterized by creating great ideas. In previous positions, I have obtained many patents and successes taking one company to an IPO and a listing on the NYSE.

Consultant / Contractor, Present
I create a wide array of software projects for a diverse list of clients. I am analyst, client interviewer, specification drafter, and solution designer. I integrate well into the existing customer/client teams when needed. Often I perform sales presentations for my customer to their clients. I typically act as technical sales with my customer’s existing sales force. I have pitched solutions to the heads of federal agencies in Washington to selling solutions on the plant floor.

I consistently upgrade my education on the latest technologies and most of my projects are currently created with Visual Studio.Net. Most of my industrial projects involve me acting as engineer as well as programmer. Many of these projects utilize embedded systems or proprietary programming languages.

VP of Software R&D,
Robotic Control Group, 1998-2001

As director of the software division, I developed the focus and direction of the company's software strategy. During my tenure, I designed RCG's commercial products and managed department programmers. Due to the advanced nature of the applications, I regularly acted as lead programmer. The typical application involved coding from the device driver level to the graphical user interface.

I crossed the software boundary and birthed the idea for the company’s flagship hardware product, where I received several patents.

Software Engineer,
Tice Engineering, 1995

After consulting for Tice for some time, I joined their team in 1995 to conclude a unique product. As the only programmer within the company, two other engineers and I co-invented the world’s first electronically geared sewing device. This technology led Tice to an IPO. After 1995, I was retained as a consultant.

Consultant / Contractor,
1987 through 1995

Previous to Tice Engineering, I consulted and contracted for numerous projects of varied types. In addition to this, I operated other businesses, most notably, a graphic art company. It was during these early years of computer innovation that I learned and adapted the creation of software to the customer’s unique needs and means.
